Access Theater at Aliante Station Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

Station Casinos approached AVDB Group to design-build the AVC Systems for the Aliante Station Casino and Hotel’s 600 plus-seat Access Theater, building upon existing AVC and lighting system infrastructure and theatrical architecture. This project marked a milestone for Station Casinos as its first world-class theater with robust rigging points, hoist motor systems and advanced theatrical infrastructure.

Explaining the principal reasons Station Casinos chose to work with AVDB Group, Director of Production/Entertainment Kevin Scroggins says, “What makes AVDB Group and its principal Scott Oosthuizen a preferred vendor is the level of technical expertise coupled with pride of workmanship they bring to any construction project.” Resulting from this industry know-how, opening night with Sheryl Crow went off without a hitch, inside and outside the theater. The entire concert was broadcast in real-time to all of the resort and gaming plasma screens, as well as Race and Sports book video projection screens. The audio system also delivered the concert to the paging system for resort-wide background music.

Scottsdale Performing Arts Center

AVDB was awarded this prestigious project in May 2009. Consisting of a new state-of- the-art Electro-Voice left/center/right audio system, processed with N8000 processors and powered by P-series Electro-Voice amplifiers, this McKay Conant Hoover designed system was successfully completed September 2009. The theater and back of house facilities were completely refurbished with new Audio Video racks, a 56-way Radial microphone split, Clearcom communication, Crestron control system and a video system with Stewart and Digital Projection components. This project, refurbishing a landmark theater with new technology, infrastructure, theatrical rigging, acoustical treatment, fittings and new seating, is considered a great success by patrons and technical crew alike.

Green Valley Ranch Resort, Spa and Casino in Henderson, Nevada

Some of the biggest names in entertainment perform at the Green Valley Ranch. To accommodate these names with equally notable performances, AVDB Group installed a dual pair of Midas XL8 digital live performance systems, L-Acoustic Kudo system and full broadcast-quality HD-SDI system centered on a Ross Video Synergy system. Additionally, four JVC GY-HD250U cameras were mounted on AMX pan/tilt heads for remote control from the video production studio. Sanyo HD projectors project video images on Stewart 9-by-16-foot and dual 7.5-by-12-foot video screens.

Thunder Valley Resort Casino, Lincoln CA

AVDB Group is providing and installing a large-scale L-Acoustic Kudo audio system with L-Acoustic SB-28 sub-woofers in a new multi-use space for Thunder Valley Resort Casinos, located just north of Sacramento, California. Featuring dual Yamaha PM-5DRH consoles and Clair 12AM stage monitors, the system is designed to satisfy even the most stringent touring rider. The video system consists of Three Christie HD-10KM projectors and Stewart projection screens, with Panasonic cameras and switching. The system is designed as a turnkey mobile touring grade system that can be dismantled for use elsewhere on-site. 4-Wall out of Las Vegas is providing stage trussing, Theatrical lighting and Architectural lighting systems, as well as hoist motors and control. Completion is set for September 2010
